Coffee Rota - Sue Burridge

Please check that you are available as below. If not, please find a swap and alter the master copy on the notice board.

Decide which of you is to bring milk (4-6 pints) and biscuits.
You may want to bring squash for the children.
Have tea and coffee ready to serve by the end of the service.
Coffee can be made before the service and stored in the flask,
and in the jugs on the filter machine hotplates.
The filter coffee machine takes 5-ish scoops to make suitably strong coffee.
The electric kettles boil very slowly, so it's a good idea
to put the large kettle on a very low gas to boil before the service for tea.
Wash and dry up the mugs etc. after coffee and replace in the cupboards.
Tea towels are out, or in a drawer in the kitchen.
Put out the rubbish sack (at the side of the Church by the bins).

Supplies:

Coffee and sugar are in the small white bins over the sink. Tea is in the big bin.
Unopened bags of sugar / coffee are in big bins - please open as needed to fill the small bins.
Extra supplies are stored above the oven.

CRECHE is for all children aged from newborn to around 3 years (or when they are ready to settle into the infant group)
INFANTS is for children aged around 3 1/2 years (or when they are ready to settle into this group) to 7 years
JUNIORS is for children aged 7 to 11 (in Years 3 - 6)
SENIORS is for children aged 11 (Year 7) and up consisting of SPIRALS (S) years 7 - 9, and FISH TANK (F) Year 10+

Welcoming Rota - Mike D

Welcomers need to be at the church by 10.45am at the latest. The job has several components:
1. To make sure that everyone is greeted at the door with a warm welcome.
2. To distribute service sheets etc.
3. To help ensure as little distraction to the service from late-comers
– ask them to wait at the door until an appropriate point in the service then usher to free seats.
4. To encourage people to the front seats and put out additional seats as necessary.

**If you are not able to be there, please contact someone else beforehand and arrange a swap
or contact Mike on the Wednesday before at the latest.
It would be helpful if you could tell Mike when a swap has been made so that the rota can be amended. Many thanks.**
